Specifics

Conferences consist of attending presentations on leadership, programming, and diversity, and how to incorporate them at the University of Oregon. These conferences are great networking tools, while at the same time showing school spirit and are a lot of fun.

How conferences serve students

Conferences provide many resources for leaders in the residence halls. Not only do we get ideas for recognition, governance, and programs, but all delegates are required to bring something back to their hall, complex, or the residence hall system as a whole.

Affiliation

The University of Oregon Residence Hall Assocation is actively affiliated at the regional and national level. The National Organization is labeled NACURH (National Association of College and University Resident Halls). Our Regional organization is PACURH (Pacific Affiliate of College and University Resident Halls). Being part of NACURH and PACURH gives us a voice in all the legislation and awards at the local and national level. Therefore, we have a say in what becomes of our organization at the regional and national level.
