The Leadership Committee is charged with fostering leadership throughout the residence halls. It is also responsible for recognizing outstanding leadership.

How this committee serves students

The Leadership Committee helps provide residents with the tools and skills to become leaders in their new community. Also by recognizing leadership this committee helps to encourage further leadership which directly is evident within the halls.

Term of Office

Fall 2008 - Spring 2009

Official Responsibilities

  • Be involved with leadership programming.
  • Poll resident opinion on various issues including: residence hall community, RHA programming, residence hall leadership, policy concerns, RHA finances, and residence hall diversity.
  • Responsible for gathering data on resident concerns via RHA Student Government Concerns Surveys.
  • Monitor and report resident feedback from the RHA Suggestion Box
  • Reinforce or redirect RHA planning and policy with direct resident feedback.
  • Plan RHA Retreat
