Finance Committee

Reviews all funding requests and budget proposals. Makes recommendations to the general council on how to vote on financial decisions (in the form of a slate). The Finance Committee also hears groups requesting funds from RHA.

Meetings

Meets at 5:30 in the Bean West Conference Room every Monday Night to look at individual funding requests.

How this committee serves students

The Finance Committee makes recommendations on how to properly allocate over $30,000 of social fees that residents pay. This committee is charged with making sure the money spent benefits residents.

Fall 2008 - Spring 2009

Official Responsibilities

Shall meet at least once a week.
Shall plan community-building programs within the residence halls.

Quorum for passing funding requests is 4 representatives.
